24th Street Farmers Market!

GSF just held its very first 24th Street Farmers Market! Every week, students from 24th Street will harvest the abundance they created over the past year and help us distribute the bounty at our new farmers market table located in front of school. This week, we packaged some beautiful mixed salad greens and swiss chard. Several students also helped package and label the produce. Parents will barter their time in the garden for fresh veggies every week!
Our ultimate goal is to make the 24th Street Farmers Market THE source of veggies for the parents and students of the community. With such fancy packaging by the kids, we'll be there in no time!
