Spring has Arrived!

New growth on our grape arbor

We are ecstatic at all the first sights and smells of spring! Already we have peaches, apricots and blueberries making their appearance.  Our fragrant Sweet Peas are a garden hit and the kids (as well as adults) can’t seem to leave them alone!

The garden is taking on all kinds of new life as we continually plan for the future!  We are tending to many projects from a Sugar Snap Pea teepee, and giant strawberry hill, to our First Grade butterfly habitat garden. Maybe next year at this time our students will be able to spot the great Monarch Butterfly as he makes his pit stop in Los Angeles. Drop by in the coming weeks and you will see that Spring has a way of sparking new creativity and fresh energy in student and teacher alike!
